Happy Birthday Chloe!

8 years ago today at 8:03pm I became a mother. That's right...Chloe is 8 today! I can barely believe it. The years have passed too quickly. I am so proud of the young lady that she is becoming. I leave you with a picture of the birthday girl.

I'm Back!!!!

I know I know I'm a huge slacker. It has been several months since my last post. I have a goal in the coming year to keep up with our blog. I want everyone to know what is going on in our lives. That is all I have for now, but I promise to give you more in the coming days. The next 2 weeks are going to be pretty busy with Chloe's birthday and Christmas. Stories and Photos to come.

I will leave you with a picture of Chloe and Lucy from Thanksgiving.

Another year come and gone.

Sorry it has taken so long for me to update the blog.  Things have been a little crazy around here.

Chloe has just finished her last days as a 1st grader.  She has made amazing progress and has made us so proud.  She has ended the year with a report card full of S's along with exceptional reading scores.  The grade mean was 175  and Chloe's score is 470.  She has her very first summer reading assignment and seems very excited to take it on.  Her teacher Miss Gilmore has decided to move on with her students to 2nd Grade so she will have another year with Chloe.  It is hard to believe Chloe is going to be in 2nd Grade.  She is growing up so fast.

Lucy has finished another year of preschool.  She still has 2 more years before she goes to Kindergarten.  It's gonna be bittersweet when that happens.  She will be spending the summer in camp...the first year in the big girl group.  She will be taking swim lessons and going on field trips.  I'm still not sure if I am ready for that, but I guess I will get used to the idea.  She is so excited!

More Summer Blogs to come...

Too Cool Lu

You WILL respect my authority!!!!!!

'Too Cool Lu', patrols the living room making sure that nothing is out of place. Her dark oversized Ray-Bans give her the upper-hand in intimidation.

Now that the interior is secure we can live happily.

American Idol...here we come!

Lucy loves to sing.  She has learned a new song that she wants to share with you.  Enjoy!

T-Ball

As I mentioned before...Chloe has started her first season of T-ball.  She had her first game this past Saturday.  It was awesome! They positioned her on 1st base 2 of the 3 innings...lots of action on 1st base.  She had some really good catches and throws.  Of course at this stage there are no outs and they don't keep score.  She has told me that next year she wants to do Softball, so this seems to be something that she is interested in pursuing.  More photo's to come...

Welcome!

Hey, Everyone!  Welcome to our blog.  I decided a couple of months back that I wanted to start a family blog.  I thought it would be a good way to let everyone know what we are up to.  Our schedules are getting so busy that we don't have much time to keep everyone in the loop.

There is a lot going on in the Abercrombie house!  I have been given a lot more responsibility at work and I just passed the Agents State Exam on Tuesday (3/3).  Jacob is still at Full Sail, but  he is back to teaching which is what he really loves.  Chloe is in the first grade and seems to really enjoy it.  She is getting high scores in reading...which of course thrills me to no end.  She just started  her first season of T-Ball.  I will post photos of practice and her first game soon.  Lucy isn't up to much other than being a curious little 3 yr old.  She talks like an adult and sometimes I wonder is she is too smart for her own good.  She is really into music and singing.  We want her to take piano lessons, but don't have anywhere to put a piano.  We'll see what the future holds.

Well...that is it for now.  I plan on updating the blog at least once a week, if not more.
